Bright Luca Luca Collection, Adam Lippes Originals Dazzle Audiences

Adam Lippes’ = marvelous, his designs were relevant and wearable and the standing-O at the end of the show made me so happy for him! Inspired by the highline and showing off some 20s inspiration (which was all over the runways this season) I would wear every single piece. Except maybe the see-through pink blouse 🙂

Luca Luca show was fun to watch – I am loving the head accessories. Can’t wait to break them out next season!

Vibrant Colors Excite J. Mendel As Nanette Lepore Goes Sporty

J. Mendel’s show was a departure from his usual neutral tones. Gorgeous, subtle, pops of color. the colorful hemlines really did it for me. Also, i couldnt stop ogling the Olsen twins who were front row next to Selma Blair.

Nanette’s show was neon neon and more neon. SO much fun, i cant wait for spring to get here for I can pull out all the color. Not to mention, Nanette is a ton of fun.

Candela in the Tropics, Rebecca Taylor is Wearable and Adorned with Trim

the Candela presentation was inspired by the tropics (and appropriately HUMID in the room). Lots of silk and safari-themed accessories.

Rebecca Taylor is the cutest – she was nervous pre-show and playing with safety pins, but of course, it went off without a hitch.

Loved the iridescent embroidery on the very wearable pieces

Fashion’s Night Out 2011 – Chaotic but Fun

This year I was sent to cover FNO from Macy’s –

Lots of celebs, as per usual, including Rachel Roy, Karolina Kurkova, Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Forgione, Amare Stoudemire – but really my thrill of the night was meeting Andrew Zimmern, whose show i was religiously and whose quirky cuteness had me smitten.

he has lost quite a bit of weight, so I dont know if “chunky hunky” is the right name for his outfit —
